Fun with Music
A Joyful First Step
Fun with Music is a junior group class for young children, offered in two sequential programmes. It introduces young learners to music fundamentals through a creative, progressive approach.
Before formal instrument instruction or music theory, students develop foundational concepts including beat, rhythm, solfege and melody through listening, movement and singing. The curriculum also covers how sound is produced and how instruments are constructed. Instruction uses teaching apparatus, percussion instruments and movement to engage auditory, visual and tactile learning.
Upon completing level one, students advance to level two with an emphasis on reading, listening and singing skills.
