Lydia graduated from UCSI University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Classical Music, majoring in Piano. Upon graduating, she has taught in various music schools, including a Performing Arts Company in an International School. With over 20 years of teaching experience, Lydia holds both a DipABRSM and LRSM qualification in piano performance, and is currently pursuing the Dalcroze Euthythmics Certificate Award, which is a method that incorporates the basic elements of music—rhythm, melody, harmony—with body movement, to provide a multi-dimensional approach to music learning.

She believes in a holistic music education where all elements of music are taught in an integrated way. To Lydia, the body is an instrument where the development of musicality, artistry and expression take place. As a teacher, she hopes to nurture the love of music and an appreciation of the arts in her students.
